Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk - About The Role
In this role you will be reporting in the Purchase Ledger Manager and will be working within a team of 5.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of this function whilst ensuring key accounts are reconciled and any issues are quickly resolved.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Processing substantial invoices volumes on a monthly basis.
- Ensuring correct allocation of costs across departments monthly for bulk invoices.
- Prepay the invoices as required, backing out the original journal and posting the prepaid amount.
- Responding to escalated queries and working with multiple departments regarding any issues.
- Keeping track of credits owed to the company.
- Key part of the development of new system and processes needed within the department.
- Ensure recharges are coded correctly within the department.
- Contribute to finance team meetings and support the work of the other Accounts Payable Clerks
The successful Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk will have
- Minimum of 3 years within a Purchase Ledger position
- Strong finance system experience
- Ability to communicate at all levels
