Boyd Technologies Ashington UK Ltd are a global leader providing thermal management solutions to major electronics OEMs. The company designs, develops and manufactures advanced cooling solutions for the telecommunication, medical, military, space and aerospace markets. To take advantage of this expanding market we require a highly motivated individual to join our team.

Primary duties include working in the main production area, carrying out high quality assembly work to manufacture customer products using various light machinery, including bench drills, propane torches and tube cutting saws.

You may also be required to carry out mechanical joining processes such as soldering and use of epoxy adhesives. There may be work performed in our machining department where precision machined parts are produced on CNC mills.

Such component parts also require manual deburring to remove sharp features, sometimes under magnification to attain a high quality standard.

You will have the ability to read and interpret manufacturing instructions whilst maintaining high standards of quality at all times to meet customer specifications.

Completion of manufacturing travellers a necessity.
