Role Overview
We are currently recruiting for a CCTV Controller to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's site in Ealing

Key Responsibilities:


  • Start shift promptly at time designated, in full uniform.
  • Appearance to be clean, smart and tidy at all times.
  • Ensuring a consistently good guest experience for anyone on site be they tenant staff, customers, subcontractors or delivery drivers
- brief the staff daily on the Customer Service Expectations

  • Responsible for active communication of "changeover" of shift. This to include handover of shift keys, confirmation of staff on shift, contractors on site, verification of isolated alarms, runthough of incident occurrences from previous shift, confirmationof any insecure doors, outstanding faults/damage that need reporting to the client, and any matters pertaining to the smooth effective running of the shift.
  • Responsible for the awareness of Health and Safety.
  • Responsible for full comprehensive understanding of fire alarm procedures.
  • Responsible for coordinating any evacuations in the event of an incident.
  • Each member of the security team will be responsible for maintaining correct records concerning security logbooks, incident witness statements, passing through to the FM and defect reports.
  • Monitor and manage access control through deliveries and customer car parking.
  • Use patrol monitor system to assist with accident and incident control and prevention and ensure the team are using the patrol system
  • Assisting Police presence on site either in person, by camera or by statement.
  • Awareness of responsibilities and powers as a member of the security team and when to hand over to Police instruction.
  • Responsible for diffusing incidents and situations in the malls
  • Control room duty. This to include answering telephone enquiries, monitoring cameras (CCTV SIA Licence holders only), radio communication, contractor permits and log book.
  • Knowledge of inhouse radio usage plus call signs and ensuring consistent radio usage by the staff
- no first names etc.

  • Responsible on night shift to maintain check calls as required
  • Follow escalations procedures for out of hours incidents and ensure the client and Regional Incentive FM Team are aware of any significant events, including injury to any persons on site and significant damage to any area of site.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and staff information.
  • Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person
  • Maintain polite and good communication with your colleagues, tenants and customers at all times
  • Initial investigation of any accidents or incidents reported on site and ensure they are reported via the Incentive portal and client procedures.
  • Use of EDOR logging all incidents accurately

About You:


  • Must have CCTV Licence and an SIA Door Supervisor or Front Line Licence
  • Is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and support services to our clients and customers
  • Acts with honesty and integrity
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism and excellent written and spoken English
  • High expectations for quality and an eye for detail
  • High standard of personal presentation
  • Team player who always projects the IFM ethos of One Team, and having customers who love working with us and staff who love working for us
  • Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
