We are currently working alongside a leading Facilities Management organisation to recruit for a new Commercial Assistant to join a dedicated project team as part of their new Defence award in the South East of England.

The Commercial Assistant will support the Commercial Manager in improving performance across contracts, both financially and operationally. The role responsibilities have been split into two key elements, Commercial and Administration.

Commitment to excellence and offering maximum flexibility in supporting a Commercial Manager/Project Manager, or team of Managers across the

- full spectrum of commercial and administrative functions.

Assisting the commercial and operational team to comply with all Commercial and administration processes and procedures whilst ensuring a

- successful project outcome.

Responsibilities:

Monitoring the flow of chargeable works
Ensuring work in progress is converted to cash
Producing/reviewing client quotations
Purchase order administration
Supporting the pricing of contract variations/compensation events
Supply chain administration
Providing commercial and financial support to operational and project delivery teams
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting
Make best use of knowledge management information systems. (Maximo, COINS.)
