    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement Project Safety Management Systems requirements within their area of responsibility.
    • Coordinate site activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of setting-out and quality control procedures.
    • Maintain up-to-date information on site, including drawings and specifications.
    • Produce and review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure quality controls align with specification requirements.
    • Complete and/or review Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) for the control of works.
    • Communicate with Superintendents, foremen, gangers, workforce, and subcontractors to ensure understanding of provided information.
    • Issue permits in accordance with the Control of Work Procedure.
    • Keep a full and accurate daily site diary.
    • Adhere to Strabag policies and procedures.
    • Attend and contribute to Daily Co-ordination meetings and Start of Shift briefings.
    • Contribute to activity planning through development of the 4-weekly programme.
    • C-coordinate surveying requirements with site surveyors.
    • Promote adherence to Management of Change procedures.
    • Undertake planned and ad-hoc H&S inspections and communicate findings to action owners.
    • Ensure environmental controls are adequately assessed and implemented.

    Qualifications:

    • Degree/HND in Civil Engineering.
    • CSCS Card.
    • Knowledge of Project Procedures.
    • IT literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
    • Good Communication skills.
    • Ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility where necessary.
    • Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and construction documents.
    • Understanding of safety procedures and recognition of hazards.
