The housekeeper will work with the Nurse in Charge of the ward ensuring that all visitors are welcomed and that excellence in customer care and front of house services are provided.
This role will support and supplement those of the nursing staff and does not replace or supplement domestic services, but enhance the patient experience overall.
responsible for keeping the unit neat, tidy, uncluttered and well presented; the daily stock of clinical supplies and for equipment cleaning and maintenance.
They will be responsible for maintaining a safe and comfortable unit environment and will work flexibly being prepared to undertake those non-nursing duties designated by the Ward Sister/Nurse in Charge.
