Year 3 Teaching Assistant Position, Lancashire Primary School, FY6

Work in a "GOOD" Primary School

Full Time Role, Starting in January 2023


A Primary School in Poulton - Le - Fylde (FY6) are looking to appoint a positive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in one of their vibrant year 3 classes.

This is a full time Teaching Assistant position that will startafter Easter (17th April2023) and will run up until the end of the academic year.

The ideal applicant will have experience within a school or will be looking towards developing their career in the education sector.

This role is to work in a "GOOD" primary school with supportive staffand eager children who make continual progress in all areas.

This would be an excellent opportunity for the right person to develop their career in Education.

The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who holds a level 2 TA qualification or equivalent.

The successful TA will be expected to take small intervention groups and support children who need additional support on a 1:1 basis.

TheSchool are looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant who will become a part of the whole school staffing team and will inspire learning for all children.


To be considered, you will have recent and relevant experience supporting children, ideally of KS2 age and will be looking to develop your career in education.


The successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to:

  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis focusing on English and Maths
  • Conduct structured activities for small groups of children
  • Support the class teacher in day to day activities
  • Adhere to the ethos of the school


This teaching assistant position would be an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience working in KS2 or to develop their career in the education sector.
