Main Purpose:


  • Provide support and supervision for pupils, to encourage their engagement in the learning process and work towards agreed aims and objectives.
  • Work as part of a team contributing towards meeting the academic, social, behavioural and emotional needs of young people

Personal Attributes:


  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • An interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning
  • An ability to effectively and positively manage challenging behaviour
  • Professional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Good general standard of education (GCSE Grade C or 4 or equivalent in English and Maths) and IT proficiency

Starting salary £21,685 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. This is the actual salary you will receive as you will be paid all year round including the school holidays
