We're looking for a Junior Test Engineer to join an EdTech business who offer a digital asset management platform. Their technology allows educational institutes to efficiently showcase resources & material in engaging ways, revolutionising old-school processes.

The team are largely remote-first but they have an office in Marlborough; you can be full remote or hybrid focused, with a few team meetings a year for business-wide technical design & delivery sessions (plus socials).


What experience you'll need:


  • Proven automation testing experience in a commercial setting.
  • Experience writing coded automation tests from scratch.
  • Comfortable with manual testing.
  • Understand QA practices and principles within web app development.
  • A selfstarter with a passion for learning and improving their ways of working.
  • Familiar with Agile and DevOps.
It would be nice if you had exposure to some of the following tools:

  • Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, Postman, TypeScript, Cucumber, Gherkin.

What you'll be doing
You'll be joining the Platform Development Department, focused on enhancing their core product; a SaaS platform for digital collections.

You'll be responsible for planning and executing both manual and automated testing using a range of tools (Playwright, Typescript,Cucumber, Gherkin).

Although this is their default tech stack, you'll be expected to explore other modern tech and use whatever is best for the solution.

You'll be the primary tester on your delivery team and will work with the developers on your team to planyour testing.

A huge emphasis is placed on collaboration so you'll be expected to constantly communicate with your team to solve problems as a collective.
