Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Mechanical Contracts Manager on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure the efficient / effective running and coordination of multiple contracts.
Process enquiries and orders, from first receipt through to satisfactory completion, keeping customers informed throughout, to ensure Company, customer and budget expectations are met.
Maintain accurately and update in real time all SAP records including corresponding documents, Job History, CRM (where appropriate), Purchase Orders records etc.
Set up new enquires and jobs onto SAP.
Arrange and conduct site surveys.
Update SAP with detailed scope and all relevant documents, sketches, notes, drawings site photos etc. as soon as reasonably practicable following survey.
Complete job costings and prepare, price and issue quotations
Follow up quotations issued by the Department in liaison with Sales
Procure materials, consumables, equipment and PPE in appropriate timeframe.
Prepare RAMS
Arrange and attend final surveys and/or prestart site meetings as required
Develop the programme for the contract
Carry out other site visits as necessary throughout the execution of the contract
Monitor costs for every contract
Manage changes and variations in contracts
Identify financial and works risks, and provide solutions
Monitor and manage ecex personnel and contractors throughout the execution of the contract
Resolve any snags promptly and to the customer's satisfaction
Provide guidance and technical advice to colleagues and contractors
Sign off and hand over works when complete
Be safetyaware on site and in the workshop and draw shortcomings to the immediate attention of the customer's representative, Department Director and/or QHSE manager as appropriate. If immediate danger is perceived, stop work
