Description

Obbi is looking for an exceptional Sales Development Representative (remote but with the option for hybrid work if based in Belfast) to bring our product to the UK and Irish club market with the scope to work with International target areas.

Obbi is an integrated safety, compliance and training online platform that helps make clubs safer. Integrating multiple traditional business solutions, ordinarily found on individual platforms or manual processes in HR, Operations and Safety helps clubs save, money and mitigate risk.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to play a crucial role in our sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in SDR roles, possess knowledge of CRM systems, market research, and demonstrate proficiency in email sequencing and LinkedIn prospecting to generate leads for the Sales team.

Targeting cold and warm prospects in the sports club market doesn’t faze you one bit, in fact, you love it. You’re happy to go after what you want and you don’t take rejection personally. You’re a great communicator, who is a realist and fantastic at getting points across when dealing with objections. You are eager to join a fast-growing software company and have a passion for trying and testing new ways of success in sales.

  • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in managing leads and opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of email sequencing tools and strategies.
  • Proficient in using LinkedIn for prospecting and building professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the golf industry or a strong passion for the sport is desirable.
  • Background in the software/SaaS sector is desirable.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance is desirable but not essential.

The Role:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and key players in the industry.
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach via phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective outreach strategies.
  • Utilise our CRM system (Hubspot) to manage and track leads, activities, and outcomes.
  • Data maintenance via CRM system.
  • Implement email sequencing campaigns to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Support sales and marketing team as and when needed with additional activities which may include liaising with partners, market research, digital marketing and distributing marketing materials.

Additional Requirements

  • You may be required to carry out reasonable and relevant tasks that fall outside of your positions remit.
  • Within reason, you may be required to work outside of your standard contracted hours to meet the needs of the business.
  • As part of your ongoing development, you may be required to undertake training to meet the requirements of your role.
