An exciting opportunity has arisen at NFU Mutual Wells Agency for a dedicated Insurance Account Handler based at our Wells site.


You will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, contributing to the smooth running of the Agents workloads and ensuring the customer is at the heart of everything we do.

This role is an exciting opportunity for anybody who is looking to join a well-respected branch of NFU Mutual, to work within a vibrant and enthusiastic team.

You will report to the Agency Manager and effective communication and relationship building between colleagues, NFU Mutual departments and customers will be key to your success.


Key Responsibilities:

Appointment preparation for agents and completion of post insurance review transactions and documentation.

  • Diary management and coordination for the agents. Including but not limited to liaising directly with and being a point of contact for all agents' customers. Including making renewal adjustments and midterm changes.
  • Use of Office 365 and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, all members of agency and NFU Mutual staff.
  • Comply with all applicable sections of the NFU Mutual insurance compliance manual for the agency network, the agency guide and local agency procedures.
  • Complete NFU Mutual Insurance licensing examinations and training.
  • Maintain record keeping requirements for your role.
  • Produce correspondence to required time frames and quality standards.

Desired skills:

Be highly organised and able to work to deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Possessing good IT Skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate problem solving skills and use your own judgement.
  • Have a flexible and cando attitude with the ability to prioritise.
  • Be prompt, reliable and trustworthy.
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent would be desirable.

This is a full-time office based vacancy working 08:30 - 17:00 with an hour for lunch.


Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
