Although this is technically a sales role - we are not looking for "closers" "finishers" or any "bulls in china shops"
We are looking for people who have great communication and customer service skills, who can offer advice to advertisers and project manage campaigns. There are targets - but they are team targets - and they are achievable.
We don't promote outlandish OTE's or offer a Ferrari after 6 months service
What we do offer is the opportunity to work on sector leading titles, within a respected media team, handling a great deal of established, incoming business - while earning a strong basic salary and achievable commissions.

The Job
Manage existing business and administer the sales process across our two leading titles - The MJ ) & LocalGov )
Building a client network to ensure you can get our message to market
Monitor competitor products
Building upon our friendly, long-lasting relationships with clients, advertising agencies and executive search companies
Offering advice on recruitment campaigns
Preparing bespoke sales pitches which match client requirements
Client services - assessing responses to campaigns and feeding back to clients
You
Ideally you will have a knowledge of media sales - previous recruitment sales experience would be advantageous, although not essential - a positive outlook and being a team player are far more important to us.

Salary:
depending upon experience - good basic plus commissions - in the region of £35,000 pa OTE
Closing Date Monday 7th August 2023- may close earlier.
Based in our office in Macclesfield, Cheshire, Monday - Thursday and working from home on Fridays
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Holidays - 20 days per annum, plus Bank Holidays, Plus Xmas Break Closure.
No Agencies.
