The role will involve transfer laboratory knowledge to others (e.g., train group members also working on malaria genomic projects); complete drug resistance assay and loci validation work leading to a high impact publication and contribute to the LSHTM malaria research program.

The role will require working closely with other academic research groups and professional support staff, and will require excellent communication, organizational and team working skills.


The successful applicant will have a MSc or PhD in the broad area of molecular biology with excellent computational skills and demonstrated experience in the laboratory culture and functional assay work of malaria parasites.
