Description

The Technical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all project information is available to the Production team and other Departments from inception to completion and in line with the project programme.

They will liaise with and advise other Departments on technical matters and provide back-up support and information flow.

This is an exciting and challenging role, which provides an opportunity for a creative, well-organised individual to make a significant impact in a crucial part of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leading role on the project and support the Technical Manager on job running.
  • Check and process Architectural and Engineering drawings.
  • Ensure that all project information is fully checked and coordinated.
  • Issue drawings and information for construction purposes, using the correct protocols
  • Liaise with Architects, Engineers and subcontractors for information.
  • Assist the department in maintaining updated processes in regards to Building Regulations and any other Statutory Bodies.
  • Prepare and check brochure plans. Maintain brochure divergence tracker.
  • Internal liaison with Planning, Commercial, Construction and Sales.
  • Prepare and monitor technical specifications
  • Prepare and release specific site documentation and Q and A Sales/Legal notes in preparation of Sales launch information.
  • Manage Customer Change procedures. Liaise with relevant consultants and check works are complete to suit construction programme
  • Attend site / project meetings as required
  • Update and issue drawing trackers ensuring they deliver information in line with the Build programmes
Technical Competencies

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in technical role for residential developer working on low and highrise mixed use schemes OR Architectural / Engineering practice.
  • A degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Interior Design or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Building Regulations and current legislation relating to residential / commercial development.
  • Computer literate, good numerical, verbal and written skills.
  • Confident and can demonstrate ability to lead a design team and manage internal staff.
  • Effective communicator with ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to work under pressure and multi task.
  • Keen eye for detail with analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Focuses attention on the product, buildability of design and challenges expensive cost solutions.
  • Strong motivator with 'can do' attitude driven to achieve personal and team targets.
  • Ability to work within a team be flexible and lead by example willing to learn and get involved with a wide range of tasks.
  • Please note our standard working hours are 8:00am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday, though we operate a flexible working policy so working hours can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
