We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Children's Support worker within our Alternative Provision beginning in August 2023.

We are looking for Support Workers that can add to our mission to engage those who are disengaged, isolated, hard to reach, disadvantaged and who have Special Educational Needs in learning interventions that will develop confidence, self-esteem, resilience and skills and experiences needed to embrace life-long learning, making sure every person feels individually valued.
- Experience of working with young people aged with SEND, challenging behaviour and/or ASD
- Behaviour management skills
- Engaging with students 1:1 and small group tutoring/mentoring/support
- National Curriculum knowledge (desirable)
- 2 years tutoring/mentoring/experience in the UK (desirable)
- Possibility of Flexible working hours and contracts.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary:
£9.50-£12.00 per hour

All areas are cleaned on a daily basis. General working environment is outdoors and indoor areas are very well ventilated.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bristol, BS13 0QH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
