Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them succeed in their academic journey? A new opportunity has arisen for a
Student Advisor to join our team.

As a Student Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to students, helping them navigate the beginning of their higher educational experience and achieve their goals.

You will be working closely with our administration team to ensure student documents are of good standard.


You must have previous experience as a student advisor, excellent organisation skills, and an ability to communicate verbally and in writing with extreme clarity.


Responsibilities

  • Assist students in registration, ensuring they meet all necessary prerequisites and requirements. Facilitating and refining student documents.
  • Provide comprehensive information about academic programs, course requirements, and university policies.
  • Prepare students for any interviews and exams applicable to them.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions and documents, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
  • Offer guidance on study skills, time management, and effective learning strategies to enhance students' academic performance.
  • Conduct checkins with students to monitor their progress and address any concerns or challenges they may encounter.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous experience in student advising, counselling, or related roles is
    mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to student support.
  • Knowledge of academic programs, university policies, and resources is desirable.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their goals.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Organisation skills.

Pay

  • Salary: £15,000 per annum.
  • Commission pay bonus.

£15,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
