Part Time Primary SENCO...

We're looking for a experienced SENCO who'd be interested in coming in 2 days a week to coordinate all SEN requirements within a small 1-form entry school on the outskirts of Leeds.

This would be ideal for a SEN teacher wanting a new challenge whilst givingthe opportunity to carry on working 3 days a week as a cover teacher elsewhere in either a mainstream or SEN school.

Must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Will have experience of the SENCO role, particularly assessments, EHCP process, and annual reviews
Ideally experience within a similar school setting but not essential
Has an understanding of quality curriculum provision
Understands barriers to learning and effective ways to overcome these
Ability to manage time and work to deadlines
Can build and maintain excellent rapport with staff and students
Is resilient, flexible, resourceful and positive
