Purchase Ledger Clerk - Immediate Start

Hybrid Working

Cardiff - Temporary for approx. 3 Months +

£11.00 Per Hour + Holiday Pay
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Cardiff for an experienced purchase ledger clerk. The position is being offered initially on a temporary basis for 3 months, but may be extended.

My client will be recruiting for the role on a permanent basis, so ifinterested you would also be eligible to apply.


The role would suit an individual that has worked within purchase ledger previously and is able to come in and hit the ground running.

Reporting directly into the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:
1) High volume input of data entry invoices

2) Dealing with supplier queries

3) Raise purchase order requisitions, match invoices to the purchase orders and check for any variances

4) Dealing with statement reconciliations

5) Processing payments

6) Sage 50 experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills are highly desirable


Our client offers excellent working conditions and the opportunity to work for a well-established and long-standing employer within the local area.

My client is looking ideally for an immediate start but if you are on a shorter notice period, my client couldwait.


Hours are Monday - Friday 37 hours per week and the role will be fully remote and working from home.

All equipment will be provided, you will just need to collect from their offices on your 1st day.
