Description

The CAMHS Rotational Programme Lead Practitioner role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced clinician and budding leader and/or educator to use their skills and knowledge to make a real difference within the CAMHS service.

As part of the model that ensures the successful rollout of the BRAND NEW Rotational Development Programme, this role exists to ensure that practitioners completing the programme have all of the support and structure that they require to excel within their programme.

This role will enable the programme to be rolled out consistently across the service, and with time, further across the region and potentially nationally.

The main purpose of this role is to provide oversight to Band 5 practitioners completing the Rotational Development Programme, both whilst they work within their base setting and whilst they rotate through teams across the service.

This will incorporate teaching, role modelling, co-ordinating, assessing and supporting practitioners.

The CAMHS Rotational Programme Lead Practitioner will work closely with the CAMHS Training and Development Lead and clinicians across the region, to universalise the Rotational Development Programme to meet the needs of CAMHS services nationally.

This will involve evaluation and critique of the current programme with potential opportunities to contribute to research.

The CAMHS Rotational Programme Lead Practitioner will also continue to undertake clinical work within the Team and will be expected to contribute to MDT processes presenting a professional image and acting as a positive role model.
