Altum Consulting are partnering exclusively with an established Media business to recruit a Group Finance Manager on a contract basis to support their growing Group Finance team.

This role will support the Group Finance team which is led by the Group FC.

Responsibilities will include preparing monthly consolidated information, supporting the audit and providing central support to any initiatives such as group working processes andany other ad hoc information requests.

The role will also work closely with their FP&A and Operations team to support them on joint projects.

Role/responsibilities:

Pulling together the monthly group reporting pack
Preparing the monthly group intercompany matrix
Assisting the GFM in drafting group accounting policies and guidance
Providing support to the GFM on the audit by maintaining PBC lists, responding to information requests by the auditors and assisting to draft technical papers for the audit
Assisting in preparation of the year end consolidation, Group and subsidiary statutory accounts
Provide technical expertise, being able to understand, explain and calculate responses to queries raised by stakeholders across the business
Performing and documenting walkthroughs of existing processes in various global finance teams
Assisting in preparing deliverables for the monthly group board pack
Preparing weekly covenant sensitivity analysis (forecast) for management
Ad hoc finance tasks such as shareholder information requests, analysis and others
