Goring Church of England Primary School is a two form entry primary school with a strong Christian ethos and active links with St Mary's Church in Goring
Essential Qualifications:

5 GCSE including Maths & English, NVQ 3 or equivalent.

Understands the learning needs of the child they are supporting and deliver tasks adapted and matched to the way the child learns best
Is able to provide a child with quality learning opportunities to close the gap in their attainment between them and their peers (as appropriate) and improve life outcomes
Has experience and a keen interest in working with and relating to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties
Are caring and positiveminded with a solution focused approach and able to stay calm at all times
Are able to reduce a child's anxiety by preempting situations or giving reassurance at times of worry
Are resilient, resourceful, not easily shocked, and have a sense of humour

Are able to make and use visual aids such as timetables and reward systems with the child
Are able to build positive relationships with parents/carers, school staff and outside agencies and work as part of a team

Will support the Christian values and ethos of the school
Are willing to support children in managing their personal hygiene needs
Are proficient in current computer programs
