Vehicle Valeter / Bodyshop Valeter - We are currently working in partnership with one of the UK's leading Independent Accident Repair groups, for an experienced vehicle Valeter who is also very competent with delivering excellent customerservice on the front of house.


Our client is an excellent employer, who truly invest in their staff's development and career progression, as well as putting their customers first.

We are looking for an extremely vibrant smart individual with excellent interpersonal skills to act frontof house in meeting and greeting customers, assisting with checking in procedures, delivery and return of vehicles and in the final valeting of vehicles post repair.


As a Valeter, you will be responsible for valeting vehicles to a very high standard before they are given back to a customer, as well as checking vehicles in and out of the repair centre.


The Job:
Vehicle Valeter

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Inspect the vehicle for any damage prior to any movement in line with company check in procedures
  • Clarify the exact area of vehicle damage for repair
  • To safely and effectively move customers vehicles
  • Able to use high pressure hoses to clean vehicles
  • Clean windows, wheels, door handles and mirrors and any interior items as required by the contract
  • General vacuum and shampooing upholstery and carpets depending on contract
  • Valet of vehicles for final inspection
  • Waxing and polishing vehicles
  • Awareness of products and gels and other finishes for bumpers and trims
  • Cleaning service including the engine, chassis and wheel arches.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations relating to the operation
  • Be flexible regarding working days and hours
  • Punctuality, professionalism and reliability are paramount
  • Able to work as part of a team and equally able to motivate and to work as an individual
  • Attention to detail is vital in order to perform the role effectively
  • A full driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
  • A positive cando attitude with a focus on delivering excellence in customer service

Valet Experience Required:


  • A valet background, ensuring vehicles are valeted to a high standard
  • Excellent customer service
  • The ability to be organised and be able to multitask
  • Bodyshop background would be a distinct advantage

In return you will receive:
