Duties and Responsibilities

  • Obtaining, collating, and interpreting incoming supplier assurance documentation, to include specifications, risk assessments and SSAQs / audit results.
  • Prompt and monitor completion status of supplier assurance documents for new suppliers, new products, and new supply chain routes.
  • Maintain and evolve supply chain maps for key risk assessments of Raw Mats and Suppliers
  • Assess new and alternative supplier raw material samples for use in all finished products
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain ethical and sustainability status, identify improvements and work with suppliers to implement
  • Manage Sustainable & Ethical Trading analyst (50%) to document Supply chain risks and mitigations
  • Maintain and evolve the Supplier Evaluation Database and extract information from it a requested by colleagues.
  • Assist in the development of the Company's IMS / QMS to achieve compliance to the requirements of the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety
  • Assist in the preparation for and management of stakeholder audits and complete corrective and improvement actions as appropriate.
  • Coordinate the traceability challenges set upon internal, external audits or extraordinary events.
  • Coordinate resource requirements to meet all customer & internal information requirements

The Person

  • Third level Education preferably in the Food Industry (Desirable)
  • At lease two years experience in the Food Industry
  • Good IT Skills
  • Good communication skills
