Description

To provide safe and effective care for patients cared for by the CRM team under the supervision of the CRM nurse specialist.

The CSW will complement the work of the CRM nurse specialist, working alongside others in the MDT including the consultant cardiologist and their registrars, and other registered staff to ensure that patients are provided with safe, dignified, and effective care.


The post holder will facilitate patient care pathways throughout the patient experience in various settings throughout the Northern General Hospital.

To provide high quality patient services & care to the CRM service and directorate.


The CRM service supports a multi-disciplinary approach to providing the elective and emergency Cardiology patient with a high-quality positive experience.


To provide a service in line with Trust wide professional purchasing and supply organisation ensuring that the service is efficient, cost effective and responsive to the changing needs of the Trust and the wider NHS.

The CSW will work with other members of the MDT to provide a fully accessible and appropriate service.
