We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our busy team based in Wolverhampton.


Salary: 30-40K


Location:
Wolverhampton


The Role:


We recognise our colleagues are the backbone of our business and we are looking for someone to work closely with our senior management team who can implement and improve processes, lead and motivate a large team to drive performance and KPI's within theoperations and process function.


Operations Manager Duties:


  • To drive a large team to achieve stretching individual and department targets
  • Achieving growth by assessing the teams strengths and weaknesses
  • Developing and implementing new initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics
  • Setting individual targets for your team
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation
  • The ongoing training of your team
  • Developing your team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

  • Oversee daytoday operation, ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, costeffective way
  • Recruit, train and supervise staff and discover training development needs providing coaching as required
  • Recognise high performance and reward accomplishments (Succession planning)
  • Provide support, mentoring and advice to team members to generate and maintain motivation and morale
  • Prioritise teamwork load to ensure opportunities are maximised
  • Implement and improve operational management systems, processes and best practises
  • Examine management information and use this to improve processes
  • Identify improvements in the quality of customer service whilst ensuring adherence to company processes and remaining legally compliant.

Operations Manager Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
  • Extensive experience in a fastpaced administration and processing management role within financial services, claims or legal/litigation background dealing with high volume processes
  • Strong experience in managing and leading a team with the ability to engage, inspire and motivate
  • Experience of performance management
  • Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience of budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field.
