The Role


We are looking for a part-time (0.5) Engagement Coordinator to join our team to coordinate and provide operational delivery for our new collaborative project with South Yorkshire Children's University.

This is a fixed term contract that will end on August 31st 2024.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Knowledge/experience of programme coordination and delivery in higher education, further education or school sector
  • Experience of organising, supporting and delivering events/projects/training
  • Working effectively in an environment of complex regulations and procedures (e.g. data protection regulations, child protection and safeguarding)
  • Working independently, proactively dealing with stakeholder issues and resolution.
  • Commitment to flexible travel in Sheffield and Rotherham to deliver early morning sessions in schools.

The Team


The Higher Education Progression Partnership South Yorkshire (HeppSY) works with local schools and colleges to reduce the gap in higher education participation between the most and least represented groups.

HeppSY is funded through the Office for Students Uni Connect programme.

HeppSY has an excellent reputation for delivering high quality, impartial, and impactful widening participation and outreach activities through its own programmes and from the effective collaboration with key partners including both local universities.
