Description
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Lead to join our team based in Middlesbrough.

Here at SeAH Wind, we are on our journey to create the world's biggest Monopile Factory in the World. We are due to be operational by mid-2024 and we are looking for talented people to join our organisation.

Building the future for future generations, our Monopiles will quite literally be the foundations upon which our Net Zero ambitions are built.

As an Environmental Lead, you will manage all aspects of our environmental compliance. Providing a point of contact for all external environmental reporting / permitting compliance across SeAH Wind. You'll also ensure reporting requirements are accurate, meet legal requirements and are delivered in a timely manner.

You'll identify environmental compliance and training needs and develop and deliver appropriate in-house training and/or source external courses to meet these needs.

As well as assisting in the development of the QHSE management system, ensuring standards, procedures and guidance deliver legislative compliance and are aligned with recognised best practices.

You will coach and mentor site leadership teams to ensure they understand their environmental impact, compliance, environmental permitting, and environmental management system responsibilities.

You will be expected to keep up to date with relevant environmental legislation, permitting requirements and best practices, ensuring this is translated into the integrated QHSE management system and effectively communicated across the business.

To be successful in this role we are looking for a self-starter with previous experience deploying environmental standards and processes in workplaces.

You'll hold a Health and Safety or Environmental qualification or accreditation, such as NEBOSH, or IEMA with experience in implementing ISO 14001 Management Systems and supporting procedures.

It would be beneficial if you also have experience with IS and ISO 9001.

In return, we can offer an attractive base salary, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and a 5% employer pension contribution.
