The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food.

Within our group of businesses, we also have Absolute Taste, a leading event catering company, Absolute Taste Inflight our Private Jet catering business along with two farm shops, a pub and so much more.

We are looking for hospitality-passionate Front of House Team Members to join our team at our Gastro pub, The Muddy Duck, Bicester.

Overview of the role

You will:

• Work to the highest standards of service and food/beverage delivery according to your training and expected standards, ensuring absolute consistency at all times. You must engage with training materials diligently to ensure impeccable knowledge of our offering, in particular our menus.
• Deliver the excellent standard of service in keeping with our ethos and training to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Maintain the highest standards of presentation, encompassing everything from uniform, dish delivery and work stations.
• Exemplary communication with your team is imperative to ensure excellent standards, smooth service and high team morale.

Responsibilities

• This role requires a sharp emotional intelligence, you must be capable of anticipating guests' needs and wants at all times, going that extra mile to exude truly exceptional service.
• Attend all scheduled shifts in a timely manner, a conscientious approach to timekeeping is required to ensure the smooth running of each service, and in consideration for all colleagues.
• Each shift should be fulfilled with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to be at work, providing a positive working environment for the team and a warm welcome for guests.
• Fulfil all training requirements, providing a knowledgeable enthusiasm for all products across both food and beverage. Recommend and upsell products to drive spend per head.
• A diligent approach to preparation, miseenplace and on shift organisation to ensure a professional and orderly environment.
• Attend daily staff briefings, paying close attention to direction from shift manager with regards to service notes, specials and upsell targets.

The Role:

This role is 40 hours per week.

Monday and Tuesdays are off as the working week is Wednesday - Sunday and so must be available to work evenings and weekends.

£11.50 p/h + gratuities

Applicants must be over 18 years of age due to the selling of alcohol.
