Data Solution Architect - Salary to £90,000 - Remote
A leading name in the fintech arena are looking to expand and progress their Data Factory team. This team underpins the groups data architecture and data supply chains.

Over the next coming months there is a huge transformation project underway which will show the companies entire infrastructure change from an on-premise system to a state of the art cloud base infrastructure.

We are looking for an experienced Data Solution Architect that has exposure to Databricks and data warehousing ideally within a financial arena.

Our client is looking for someone that not only has the ability to work on the technical architecture of the process but also has the ability to collaborate with high level members within the business to work toward a common goal.

The exciting part to this position is the possibilities and where the role will be headed.

You have an opportunity to use your experience to not only bring in some of the best practices but also put a stamp and a direction on where the entire data function will move within the business.

Skills & Abilities:

Experienced solution architect in crafting solutions for data warehouse projects and programmes working in complex, multivendor change delivery organisations
Data/datawarehousing knowledge and experience particularly on the Teradata EDW platform or similar technology
Experience in modern engineering practices and technologies
Experience with Data Modelling (Logical and Physical), Erwin data modelling tools, Teradata FSLDM (Financial Services Logical Data Model), ETL and enterprise reporting tools
Solid understanding of Informatica and data architecture principles
Continuous improvement and innovative mindset
Ability to work independently with minimal mentorship
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet fast paced timelines
