Your new role


An opportunity has arisen for experienced
Customer Support Administrators (x4)** to join the Customer Service team on a permanent basis.

This role is being offered on a hybrid basis which is a combination of working from home and attending the office.

As a member of our newly formed Customer Support hub you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including

  • Reception duties over 5 sites across the city of SouthendonSea
  • Outgoing post
  • Preparing children's files
  • Minor child supervision
  • Responsibility for the administration of our room booking system
  • Giving tours of buildings
  • Signposting customers
  • Volunteer recruitment
  • Signing in and checking paperwork for contractors
  • Receiving parcels
  • Arranging couriers
What you'll need to succeed


To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent customer service and telephony skills and a good eye for detail.

It is vital that you have clear verbal, electronic, and written skills of communication as you will be liaising with variety of stakeholders across different levels.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, with good IT skills. A passion to exceed service expectations by being friendly, professional, collaborative, and responsive. You will also be able to build strong relationships both internally and externally. The ability to move around the different hubs within the service. The ability to travel around the city of Southend-on-Sea sometimes at short notice.
