Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a well-established, dynamic business based in Barnsley.

The business is a leading manufacturing specialist, with a turnover of £60m and due to grow the business are looking to expand the finance functionand are looking to add a Management Accountant to their team.

The role reports to the Financial Controller and working alongside a small team you will be responsible in producing monthly accounts, budgeting and contributing to business decision making and improving processes.

The organisation is looking for an individual who is commercially driven and wants to add value and represents a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to progress their career and develop their accounting and strategic skills.

Main responsibilities:

Production of month end accounts and group reporting packs
Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
Yearend financial statements, group reporting and liaising with the external auditors
Monthly stock and reconciliations
Advising the Senior Management on commercial matters
Liaising with Group head office finance function and Treasury as necessary
