Digital Education Systems Administrator

Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa inclusive of London allowance


The LSE Eden Centre brings together educational, technological and developmental expertise to support the academic staff and enable curriculum enrichment and digital innovation across the School.

Eden Centre staff work with academic and professional services colleagues across the School and in partnership with students to enhance research-rich education in line with the priorities of the LSE 2030 Strategy and its 'Educate for Global Impact' strand.

We are looking to recruit a Digital Education Systems Administrator to join the Digital Education team.

It is an exciting time to join the team as we embark upon the multi-million pound 'Digital Education Futures' programme - a suite of initiatives to embed effective digital practice across the School and transform the staff and student digital experience.


The Digital Education Systems Administrator will support the administration and maintenance of LSE's digital education toolkit, ensuring the suite of tools meets the evolving needs of the institution.

The postholder will work closely with colleagues in the Digital Education team, other professional services colleagues and build relationships with external partners, to enable digitally-rich learning, teaching and assessment at LSE.

- administrator-level experience in a software system with multiple users, roles and permissions, such as a VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) or CMS (Content Management System);
- ability to pick up and be fluent in the use of new technologies in short order;
- ability to produce high-quality written documentation and reports that convey technical information to a range of audiences accurately and accessibly.
