Are you passionate about dance and dedicated to nurturing the next generation of performers? We're seeking a dynamic Lead Dance Teacher to join our team and inspire young dancers in our pre-school and lower school programs, with potential involvement in our upper school as well.

Responsibilities:

Program Coordination:Overseeing our pre-school and lower school dance programs, ensuring high-quality instruction and coordination with the principal to maintain program standards.

- Schedule Management: Leading classes on Saturdays (2-4pm) and Sundays (11-1pm) during term time, with opportunities for additional hours covering teaching on Thursdays and Fridays, holiday workshops, and potential outreach workshops.

Attendance and Cover:Ensuring consistent attendance during term times and arranging suitable cover for any classes unable to be attended.


Requirements:

• Qualifications**:Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one. Safeguarding qualification, first aid certificate, and GDPR training (or willingness to acquire).

- Passion and Commitment: A genuine passion for dance education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for students.

- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

- Flexibility:Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of dance education, including schedule changes and additional responsibilities.


Training and Support:

• Commencement**:Training to commence in August to prepare for a September start.

- Ongoing Support:Monthly online training sessions and weekly catch-ups with the principal to ensure continuous professional development and support.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Freelance


Pay:
£15.00-£20.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 5 per week
