Join us as a Regulatory Advisory Senior Manager

  • This role will have you focusing on UKspecific regulations to provide a broader breadth of coverage across our business
  • There's a level of influence in the market, and advocacy associated with this role, so you'll concentrate on attaining a broad reach of UK and EU regulatory frameworks
  • Become involved in securitisations and use your specialist skills to make an impact through your work, while collaborating with your colleagues in a truly inclusive environment

What you'll do

We'll look to you to develop and deliver capital interpretations on existing business, impact on the business and the evaluation impact of new guidance from global, European and UK regulatory bodies.

You'll be responsible for the team compilation and obtaining executive sign-off of updates to policy as advised by Basel, European Banking Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), liaising with colleagues in other member states to ensure consistenttreatment at a consolidated level.


It'll be your responsibility to:

  • Make sure that all judgements are logged and tracked through interpretation or implementation governance
  • Build and manage working relationships at senior manager and executive level across franchises, including relevant financial directors and regulatory reporting senior managers across our business

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you'll hold a professional accounting qualification with significant post-qualification experience in a risk or regulatory environment.

You'll be a member of relevant trade bodies with expert and up-to-date knowledge of PRA reporting requirements.

You'll also need:

  • Significant knowledge of capital and regulatory returns
  • A commercial awareness and an understanding of current market practices
  • To be a selfstarter, with the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues
  • The ability to influence, negotiate and deliver through colleagues at a broad spectrum of seniority across the organisation
