£29,854 - £35,881 per year (experience dependent).

Key Responsibilities and Duties:


  • To lead and codeliver elements of the Outreach Team's core training through small and large group training for a range of organisations, which may involve the design of new learning materials face to face or online training.
  • Working closely with the project lead to ensure communication, planning and relationships with schools are supported and maintained.
  • Responding to requests as well as arranging and undertaking observations of children and staff teams.
  • Supporting the development and delivery of new models of training and interventions.
  • Timetabling and scheduling training and supervision elements to ensure projects are well managed.
  • Delivering and codelivering group supervision with school staff as required by the project.
  • To support the growth of Mulberry Bush Outreach across the region, and nationally, developing links with local authorities and other organisations.
  • Role modelling good practice when working with children, families and professionals.
  • Identify own CPD needs and help identify ways to meet these whilst undertaking training as required to the role.
  • To act as ambassadors for the Mulberry Bush, working within its values and ethos.

Desirable Skills:


  • Experience working with children, families or professionals within a school setting.
  • Selfmotivated and able to work amongst a team to address challenges in creative and thought out manner.
  • Delivering training to other professionals.
  • Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
  • Hold a UK driving license.
  • Worked in a range of education settings delivering outreach support (desirable).
  • Knowledge of relevant theory and practise base (desirable).
  • Up to date knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and Government Policy (desirable).
