About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Planner to join our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team to work at
Sellafield, Seascale.
Role Purpose:
As the successful Senior Planner, covering all multi-discipline MEP services, under supervision of the Planning Manager, Project Lead or Bid Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the requirements of the tender and / or project planning procedures throughout the entire project life cycle, ensuring compliance with the business management system.
What you'll be doing Key Accountabilities**:
- Ensuring that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance
- Identifying planning scope, major constraints, and contract requirements
- Identifying major quantities and factors affecting the programme
- Establishing and agreeing with Operations and Bid Team key methods of construction, sequencing, installation, and commissioning
- Producing and documenting the planning deliverables including programmes, planning philosophy, presentations, and reports.
- Developing overall programmes, issuing to all parties for review and implementing recommendations, innovation, and best practice as applicable
- Interfacing with all KDP's (Key Delivery Partners) & third parties on Sellafield to identify and resolve issues
Who we're looking for Key Skillset Required**:
- Proven prior experience working on mid-large scale construction / Engineering projects in a Project Planning capacity
- Prior experience working as part of a site team, a busy site environment, multidisciplinary services (digital, design, production, commercial & planning)
- Ideally experience of various reporting cycles
- I.E. Earned Value Management, Variance Analysis, Critical Path Methodology, Quantity Tracking
- Solid and proven
Primavera P6 and
MS Excel experience
