The role
As a Business Support Specialist you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

Babcock Corporate Services (BCS) is a global function, which supplies and operates all IT, Security, Procurement, and Finance Shared Services.

We are embedded alongside the operations that we serve, enabling us to maintain close working relationships which support delivery to our customers.


Additional responsibilities:

  • A variety of daytoday administrative tasks for senior leadership team member including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for meetings.
  • Successfully completing critical aspects of activity independently and with a handson approach.
  • Prioritising conflicting needs; handling matters expeditiously, proactively, and followingthrough on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with stakeholders.


This is a full time, permanent position based at our Head Office in Wigmore Street London for four days per week, and one day working from home.


Essential experience of the Business Support Specialist:

  • Experience in business support including managing diaries, arranging travel and itineraries
  • Ability to decipher priorities and make sound judgment calls when needed.
  • Commitment to excellence and performing duties at the highest level possible on a consistent basis.
  • Excellent communicator with a proven ability to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional manner.
  • Proven experience, ability, and temperament to work with sensitive information
