As part of a small team, you will work directly with your team leader and the Head of Data Analytics as we look to constantly evolve and improve our offerings for clients.

This will include finding new sources of data using a variety of research methods, and you will have the opportunity to feed into the optimisation of team processes.

You will be responsible for assisting with Quality Control and maintaining the high quality of output that our clients require, so an eye for detail is a must

Skills and Experience Required:

We support colleagues to develop their skills but to be successful you really need to already be able to tick most of these boxes.

Don't worry if you don't meet every requirement - we don't expect one person will necessarily be able to do everything listed.

You will also need;

  • Previous experience conducting market data research and data analysis is obviously a plus, but this is a role that's aimed at a graduate.
  • You will definitely require excellent reading comprehension and web research skills.
  • The main part of your role will be with datasets in Excel primarily, so you need to be comfortable with the basics. You don't have to be an Excel authority, but willing to learn fast in the job.
  • Strong attention to detail is important. The reports we analyse are lengthy and research to locate specific data points is a very specialized process.

You need to be the kind of person who

  • Gets the value of good data. It's not always exciting but it is always important, and we are improving our offering all the time.
  • Can work independently at times but is also a good teamplayer, and you'll need to be able to demonstrate it at interview too.
  • Can think on their feet, prioritise, take on responsibility for a variety of tasks and deliver on time.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills it's a closeknit team and getting along is critical.
  • Is well motivated and can stay focussed on difficult tasks: specialised research can sometimes be challenging, but you will be a crucial and valued part of our business.
