Main duties and responsibilities

• This role will include a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following:

Testing systems to identify faults
- installation of inverters and electrical equipment

• Installing PV Parking Canopies and On-Roof Solar PV Panels. (Must be comfortable working at height)
• Installing Flat-Roof Mounting Systems.
• The installation of Solar PV on commercial units.
• Working on your own initiative and also as part of a team
• Working alongside the Solar PV Electrical teams to maintaining progress on multiple sites around the country
• Working safely and following company health and safety regulations to ensure safety of yourself, colleagues, customers and visitors
• Taking full responsibility and ownership of all assigned tasks, carrying out skilled installations, repairs and improvements alongside qualified electrician
• Working alongside the Solar PV Electrical Engineer to diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining excellent client relationships and sustaining repeat clients.
• Provide support to team members.
• Ensure all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place and adhered to for any works being completed.
• Willing to work away

Preferable but not essential

• 18th edition
• Electricians apprentice
• UK driving license with no more than 6 points

Job Types:

Salary:
£11.00-£16.00 per hour
