Our Adult Education centres host tutors and students from Kent Adult Education and Kent Training and Apprenticeships along with external companies hiring our spaces.


You should have good customer service, sales and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to collate and manage information.


Applicants will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be willing to learn to use our bespoke management information system.

The post requires a flexible working approach, and we endeavour to be flexible in return.

The working pattern will have variable hours and will include evening hours (up to 10pm) as required and some Saturdays.

The ability to travel to other centres in the hub in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is required.

You will possess Level 2 or GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
