Do you have experience in sales and purchase ledger? We have an opportunity for you to join a Redruth based company, covering the transactional finance function as part of their small but friendly team.

As the Finance Assistant you'll be an integral part of our client's finance function, working closely with the Finance Manager to provide support to the finance team.

The role:

Maintain the purchase ledger: Supplier account maintenance, invoicing inputting & coding.
Payment allocation & assisting in weekly payment runs
Maintaining Sales Ledger: Customer account maintenance, invoice runs and payment allocation
Credit Control
Bank account reconciliation
Maintenance of company credit cards and card payment account
Assist in ad hoc tasks essential for the smooth operation of the accounts department.

Requirements:

A proactive approach to problemsolving and keen attention to detail.
Previous experience in general accounts tasks i.e. sales ledger or purchase ledger
AAT qualification to Level 3 is desirable but not essential, experience is equally of value.
