If you have a
degree or are predicted one with a 2:2 or above in English, maths, the sciences, Humanities or psychology and a passion for a career working with children, an exciting opportunity awaits you in
Huddersfield for the remainder of the academic year and possibly for the new academic year.

If you are interested in starting a career working with children but want to gain experience first. This Graduate Teaching Assistant role is the role you've been waiting for.

You will need

:


  • Passion and enthusiasm to shape the next generation.
  • An interest in secondary school education or SEN.

Degree/predicted - 2:2 or above.
English, maths, the sciences or psychology would be ideal.

Your Key Responsibilities

:


  • Provide teaching support in small groups and with individual pupils.
  • To assist with the general pastoral care of students
  • Promote positive values, attitudes, and good pupil behaviour.
  • Actively encourage the inclusion of all students to participate in the life and activities of the school.
  • Support the teacher with monitoring progress.
  • Assisting in the planning and learning activities.
  • Support pupils with their educational and social development by modelling positive behaviour and demonstrating high expectations.
  • Promote and reinforce the inclusion, acceptance and integration of all pupils.
