Duties
- Visiting clients' homes to perform risk assessments, to assess the nature of the work required and to undertake repair work as required.
- To carry out required small repairs to a high standard. This may include ordering and obtaining materials where needed.
The main types of jobs that we complete are: changing all types of light bulbs; putting up blinds and curtain poles; changing curtains; installing key safes; building small flat pack furniture; changing toilet seats; putting up shelves and pictures and many other small repair jobs.
- To observe all health and safety standards whilst working and ensure that work is carried out in a safe way.
- To take payment for jobs from the client, primarily using mobile electronic payment systems (such as izettle) which are provided.
- Reporting on safety or welfare issues concerning clients to relevant staff.
- Linking with local agencies dealing with safety and security eg. Fire Brigade.
- Ensuring clients sign a job sheet on its completion to check the job has been completed to a satisfactory standard
- Monitoring feedback and dealing with complaints in conjunction with Coordinator

Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary:
£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
