Are you passionate about providing quality care? We're looking for dedicated Health Care Assistants to join our team in Newcastle, Gateshead and surrounding areas.
The Role
Supporting service users to remain as active and independent as possible in their own homes.
Supporting service users with personal care and mealtimes and allowing them to make choices.
Helping residents to identify their 'unique goals and implement personalised care plans.
Supporting service users to identify new interests and engage in physical activities in a motivating and homely environment
Prompting and administering medications as per care plan
Assisting with feeding where required
Providing emotional support to both service users and their families when needed
Supporting service users with accessing community
Keeping families updated
Maintaining service users home clean by completing basic domestic tasks and maintaining a safe environment

We provide training and robust induction programs for all new carers and support workers and we will support you with all that is required to be a successful with Mishlaiz Versatile Healthcare.

What we look for from our staff
Along with your enthusiastic personality, we require two satisfactory references, one from your most recent employer.
Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract
Salary:
£11.00-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
