About the role

As this role is internal facing, we are looking for someone with a high level of customer service
Excellent knowledge of endpoint devices, Windows, Linux, macOS and IOS
A passion for technology and automation
The ability to work to tight deadlines, build relationships and work with users in a professional, confident, and friendly manner
Open to learning new ways of working and integrate with an established multidiscipline team

Area of responsibility

Become the internal face of IT within the company
Provide first and second line support to company endusers (both form technical, nontechnical, and at all levels of the business)
Providing internal support for office hardware including data centers, servers, PCs and mobile devices, and ensuring compliance with company policies
Set up of internal user environments
Ensure the smooth deployment of new hardware & software
Support the data centre environment with patches, VM replication and new VM's as required
Support issues both inside and outside of core working hours, including remote workers
Create and maintain all operational documentation, processes, and procedures
Integrate with larger teams to ensure that IT policies are adhered to and escalate issues where needed
General day to day administration tasks including IT procurement, proactive maintenance and monitoring of backup and security systems, deployment of updates and auditing systems
Continuously improving and keeping up with the IT business needs of the organisation
Testing and configuring new hardware and software technologies
Management of video conferencing and telecommunications technologies

Your qualifications

Experience with end user support
Experience with VMware Virtualisation
Experience to Windows Server 2012R2
Experience with Active Directory/LDAP
Networking and troubleshooting experience

SAN & NAS
