About the role

  • As this role is internal facing, we are looking for someone with a high level of customer service
  • Excellent knowledge of endpoint devices, Windows, Linux, macOS and IOS
  • A passion for technology and automation
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines, build relationships and work with users in a professional, confident, and friendly manner
  • Open to learning new ways of working and integrate with an established multidiscipline team
Area of responsibility

  • Become the internal face of IT within the company
  • Provide first and second line support to company endusers (both form technical, nontechnical, and at all levels of the business)
  • Providing internal support for office hardware including data centers, servers, PCs and mobile devices, and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Set up of internal user environments
  • Ensure the smooth deployment of new hardware & software
  • Support the data centre environment with patches, VM replication and new VM's as required
  • Support issues both inside and outside of core working hours, including remote workers
  • Create and maintain all operational documentation, processes, and procedures
  • Integrate with larger teams to ensure that IT policies are adhered to and escalate issues where needed
  • General day to day administration tasks including IT procurement, proactive maintenance and monitoring of backup and security systems, deployment of updates and auditing systems
  • Continuously improving and keeping up with the IT business needs of the organisation
  • Testing and configuring new hardware and software technologies
  • Management of video conferencing and telecommunications technologies
Your qualifications

  • Experience with end user support
  • Experience with VMware Virtualisation
  • Experience to Windows Server 2012R2
  • Experience with Active Directory/LDAP
  • Networking and troubleshooting experience
