Oakside Surgery are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our ever growing team

Oakside Surgery provides medical services from Honicknowle Green Medical Centre, a purpose built medical centre with private parking and full access for the disabled.

We are a member of NHS Devon CCG and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

We are looking for receptionist's with the following qualities to assist our practice in providing excellent patient care and support the practice to achieve outstanding service.

Caring and compassionate
Excellent interpersonal skills including a professional and welcoming telephone manner
Excellent organisational skills in order to manage multiple tasks and process timelines
Demonstrates flexibility
Able to build strong relationships with the Practice team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn about all products and services offered
Previous NHS/GP experience is preferred

They will work within the administration team, supporting the clinical staff and each other to deliver a high quality service to patients and other health care professionals.

Though based primarily in one section, the post holder may be required to work in other sections of the department where support is needed.

They will be required to follow established procedures and work under supervision but use their own initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their own work.

The post is for 24 hours per week Mon-Fri:
Monday 12:30-18:30, Tuesday 12:30-18:30, Wednesday 12:30-18:30, Thursday day off, Friday 12:30-18:30.

Occasional Saturday shifts are available every 5 weeks.

£10.42 per hour, 6.6 weeks holiday including bank holidays (pro rata)
