Senior Embedded Software Engineer


Package:

Up to £85,000 salary plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private medical insurance, life assurance and an annual development budget plus additional annual leave.

The Role:

A new position have now been created for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our clients growing Engineering team as they continue to develop industry leading medical devices that change and save people's lives.

Ourclient is continuing to grow year on year and as such have an exciting new product roadmap ahead of them in 2023 and beyond.


They are now looking for an experienced Embedded Software who can help them deliver a host of updates and work on brand new products.

You will be joining a small, established team made up of engineers from multiple disciplines and you will be expected tocontribute throughout the full development lifecycle.


Ideally you will be able to illustrate experience in a similar role and have a track record of producing reliable embedded software solutions.

You will be comfortable working in a team environment but also be able to work on individual assignments and takecontrol over your own workload.


This role will offer the successful Embedded Software Engineer the chance to take on a challenging yet varied role whilst working on products that improve and save peoples lives, using modern technology to achieve amazing results.

In return you will receive a salary of up to £85,000 and excellent benefits package that includes flexible hybrid remote working, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, private medical insurance, life assurance and an annual development budget plus additionalannual leave


Skills and experience required:


  • Strong Embedded C programming
  • RTOS and Bare metal development
  • I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, USB and UART Interfaces


  • Microprocessor development

  • STM32, ARM Cortex ideally

Desirable skills and experience:


  • Python or Java programming
  • Agile development methodologies
  • Experience within the medical device or safety critical sectors
