    This role is perfect for a Quantity Surveyor looking to advance their career within a thriving employee culture that values diversity and promotes equality.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with clients to establish project requirements and undertake initial cost planning exercises.
    • Develop informed client cost advice through cost planning and value engineering from RIBA design stages.
    • Evaluate and develop procurement strategies.
    • Prepare tender and contract documents, including BOQ's for review by senior staff.
    • Conduct thorough tender appraisals and provide recommendations for the client.
    • Monitor and record project costs.
    • Identify and assess potential project risks and cost variations.
    • Negotiate payments in accordance with the contract.
    • Produce detailed project or claim reports under the supervision of senior staff.
    • Issue notices in accordance with the contract in case of disputes.
    • Maintain open communication with project team members and clients.
    • Persistently maintain detailed records of project variations and risks.
    • Compile draft final accounts.

    Essential Requirements:
    • Confidently participate in project meetings and contribute valuable insights.
    • Experience working with NEC contracts.
    • Strong background in procurement.
    • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques and principles.
    • A professional appearance and demeanor.
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills.
