The Job

The Company

A professional multi-discipline building consultancy working on behalf of an NHS Trust.

This is a a long-term contract as a Clerk of Works - Electrical, you will be responsible for the Client side delivery of assigned major NHS new-build project, through daily auditing and checking progress and liaising with the project and installation teams.

Within this post you will report directly to the Project manager within the Client's project management team.

A good understanding of Health and safety, NEC Contracts and working on Hospitals is essential, as are Electrical engineering qualifications

The Role

Key Duties:
Supervise Major Project Electrical Building services works
Carry out condition surveys of the building as required
Compile scopes of work arising from these surveys
Manage, instruct and supervise the building Electrical building works
Carry out regular audits
Monitor budgets to ensure efficient use of resources and for forward planning maintenance and project works
Liaison with stakeholders on scope and extent of work, programme, budget and contract documentation
Manage handover of projects and acceptance procedure including all documentation on completion of works

If you have clerks of work experience working within the Hospital sector role could be ideal
